What is your returns policy?

 

At Tab Department we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. For off the shelf-products you can return your purchase to Tab Department within 14 working days and receive a full refund on the purchase price. Please note, all delivery charges will not be refunded for discretionary returns. Be sure to let us know that you plan to return a purchase before doing so. For custom products there are no returns. Custom products are made specifically for you and after you've approved a proof. For obvious reasons we cannot resell these items so all sales are final on custom index tabs, custom binders, and the printing of material for your binders. Any products returned must be returned in the same condition as shipped.

I have received an incorrect item in my order?

 

If you have received an incorrect item in your order, please contact The Tab Department as soon as possible.

My Delivery is missing an item.

 

On rare occasions, if an order exceeds the available stock, normally we will ship what we can and follow with the balance. Please contact customer service, stating the item that is missing and we will correct this as quickly as possible.

Order Cancellations

 

We can cancel your order, providing it hasn't been started. Please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. If the order has been started you can still cancel it but you will only receive a partial refund dependent upon how much work was done before you contacted us. All refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (ie the funds will be reimbursed on the same credit card or same PayPal account). Please note that to offer three day turnaround on custom index tabs requires that we start the processing of your order as soon as possible.

I want to change my online order, How do I do this

 

Contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not been printed then no problem -- we can amend your order. If the order has been started we can still amend your order but unfortunately there will be a cost involved depending on how far along the manufacturing process has advanced. We will do our best to make you happy but once we have incurred costs we have to recover those. To avoid errors we require that a proof for all custom index tab orders be approved by the customer. Please note that to offer fast turnaround on custom index tabs requires that we start the processing of your order as soon as possible.

What warranty applies to Tab Department products?

 

Tab Department has a long history of producing custom index tabs and rarely have quality issues ever arisen. We warranty the tabs against normal wear and tear for one year, although tabs do in reality last much longer. If somehow defective tabs get past us just contact us and we'll fix it.
